In 2025 USPS started requiring use of an official Cremation Box for all amounts of human and pet cremation ash, regardless how little. Your local post office does not stock this box and it must be ordered online. >> Order here. <<
If you are ordering from multiple artists to save money on sending multiple kits you have the option to send them all back to Austin in one shipment for delivery in 6-8 weeks, or individually directly to the artist for delivery in 4-6 weeks.
When ordering infused artwork please also order however many cremation boxes you need from USPS. If you are more than 5 (the maximum per) order, then reorder the remainder. The box itself, and the shipping of, is free however there is a postage cost of between $31 to $64 to ship it, based on how far you are located from the artist (sorry those in Hawaii and Alaska, you get to pay the max.)
We will still be sending you material to put the cremation ash in and instructions of where to send it; this will be sent via a first class 9x12 mailer UNLESS you've ordered silver jewelry/chains/or other inventory from us in which case we'll ship in either a bubble mailer or box. Please allow 5-7 days for your kit/inventory to arrive.
Please note sending cremation ash this way is the USPS regulation, not a regulation Spirit Pieces itself has. We will accept packages no matter how they are sent, as long as they arrive.
Additionally, if you are sending ashes from pets, you do have the option to send UPS or Fedex to our Austin office. This will delay your order by 1-2 weeks, but will be only ~$15.
